A beautiful recreation of an archetypal Arts and Crafts table first designed by English Architect/designer Ernest Gimson, a founder of the English “Arts And Crafts” movement of the late 1800´s.
The robust sections are all mortise and tenoned with unusual braces carefully dovetailed under the top, serving to keep the top flat and still allow width movement. The top is secured to the base with handmade ebonised pegs.
The hexagonal leg sections and the striking arched shaped elements define the wonderful gothic nature of this definitive Arts and Crafts table.
A challenging piece that always demands the very utmost of the joinery skills of the maker.
Available in American Oak, North Qld Silky Oak & Wattle.
