An very elegant Silky Oak chair with a stylised hand carved motif hand on the upper rail, complimented by the subtle shaping of the front legs.
As many old chairs from this period were not the most comfortable (to say the least!) we’ve taken an old chair design and reworked it with a slightly larger seating area and gently shaped back rails to offer this substantially more comfortable option.
These superior Silky Oak chairs have mortise and tenon joinery, glued and screwed corner blocks and front/side stretchers for maximum strength.
The webbed seat inserts are removable and can be upholstered in material of your choice.
